How tennis scoring works

Points count 15, 30, 40, then game; 40-40 is deuce and needs two points in a row (advantage, then game). Win six games by two for a set, with a tiebreak at 6-6. Matches are best of three or five sets.

• Best of 3 or 5 sets, or a single set.
• No-ad scoring — sudden death at deuce.
• Super tiebreak — first to 10 replaces the deciding set.
• Pro sets to 8 or 10, Fast4, short sets, first to 9, and tiebreak-only.
• Automatic serve indicator that rotates correctly, tiebreaks included.
